WHAT IS OZONE?
Ozone generators remove odors by producing large concentrated amounts of O3 (ozone). The ozone oxidizes and breaks down residual odor compounds in the surrounding air.
Ozone reacts directly with contaminants in the air, water, fabrics, and walls to destroy instead of mask them. Unlike other types of air purifiers, it does not require air passing through the machine to eliminate odors. Once the air treatment is finished, the O3 quickly turns back into O2 (oxygen) and the room is left with a “fresh air” smell.
WARNING: Ozone should never be used while adults, kids, pets, or plants are present. Run this setting in unoccupied spaces only. The space may be re-occupied after 30 minutes of “airing out”.
